  This can also be used in Java environment and a Java equivalent of Activ X , can also be availed from JAMS.  
  The agent desktop softphone is re-developed from ground up using Cisco API's. It is in a component form (ActivX COM) ready to be incorporated in a CRM solution for integration purposes. Thus giving the customer best of both the worlds i.e. the telephony and the CRM.
